Ashley & Jordan

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

Ashley has been one of my best friends since 3rd grade & she & Jordan were nice enough to let me photograph them last February (oops, I lied – it was last March)… Yes, I’m late, but it’s okay because they said so. : )

She & Jordan were married approximately a year ago (last April)!  Yay!

Aren’t they cute?

Be sure to enjoy. And don’t overlook the fabulous Wolverine claws in the last photo(s)!

It’s Kristin take 2! : )

It’s time for round 2 of the fabulous Kristin!  I was serious about getting so many gorgeous shots!

In other news, I have a bridal session with the wonderful Marla (which I am so excited about!  Finally, I get to use my 50 f/1.4 lens – if you don’t know what that means, just think lovely portraits -, which I’ve had for about a month, just waiting for a chance to play!) & then Marla & Tim’s wedding the following Saturday (my first wedding to do on my own!).  They’re adorable & I’m so excited!

Also, I’ll have a post of another couple, who has waited patiently for me to get their photos up.  (I love you Ashley & Jordan!)…

Until next time!

I have so many beautiful photos of the wonderful Kristin that I just can’t make them into only 1 post, so she’ll have 2. : ) Plus she’s waited for months on me to get these processed (but she’s a wonderful friend & hasn’t complained even once!)

So, with no further ado, here they are!

I have been experimenting with textures (all the extra grunge in the first two).  Tell me if you like it!   I do, but I don’t want to over-do it, either, so let me know what you think!

Rachel Session 2

Friday, May 1st, 2009

Well, I decided that it was time to put up something new even though my exhibit is still up (that’s right, I don’t want anyone to forget).

I actually have two senior sessions that I’ve finished editing within the last week, so you’ll get my favorites from Rachel’s session today and you’ll just have to wait for Zeke’s to go up later. : )

I don’t have very many black & whites to post, but I’ll make up for it with Zeke’s blog. I do love black & white. And I don’t think it’s something that I’ll get over anytime soon (as if it needs to be gotten over! Pfft!)

Okay, now for Rachel’s photos (since they’ve finished uploading!).

Aren’t her cowboy boots the cutest? I love the teal!!! : )

We actually just found “Yay!” & “2009″ written on the wall here.
Talk about convenient!

Exhibit

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

I will have an official exhibit up in the TTU School of Art. It’s on Flint & 18th (more or less) and if you enter through the South Side door, you’ll be in the middle of my work. (The School of Art is the 1 story building, not the super tall one on that intersection).

I’d love for all of my seniors & couples to go & see because about 95% of you from this year are in it! : )

It’ll be up from April 27th – May 9th. If you’re coming to my graduation (on May 9th) then we’ll all be going over there afterward (we all means my family & anyone else interested). But you don’t have to wait until the last day. Swing by & bring all your friends & tell them how awesome I am! : ) Or you can just take them & they can actually decide for themselves what they think (I’d go that route personally, but someone has to do my self-promotion).

I think I’m going to leave a little sample on here, mostly because posts are best with eye candy. However, maybe it’ll convince someone to stop by.

P.S. to everyone whose image is in the exhibit – if you like your image & are interested in buying it, do contact me about it. I promise to give a reasonable price & you can then have a unique image of yourself that was famous (haha) enough to be in an exhibit. — Oh, and the frame is included, you’ll be getting exactly what’s on the wall at the exhibit. : )

Edit: Here are the Exhibit times:

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm :: Sunday 12:00pm – 4:00pm

Parking:

BTW everyone – if you’re not going on the weekend, the best idea for parking is to go to the top level of the parking garage (near the light on 18th & flint) and pay the meter (50 cents to a dollar) to park. I don’t want anyone to get a ticket & Tech can be grumpy about their parking.

There is also parking right in front of the building, & the … Read Moreprice to park is the same but there aren’t usually open spots.

Finally, there maybe a free place to park but you’ll have to go to the Parking Booths (they’re in the middle of the street – one on 18th and Boston & one furher up Flint) and ask them because I can’t park anywhere for free since I’m a student.

Piano

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

I took this image in late February & it’s been sitting on my computer, waiting for me to give it some love. Now I have. I took several others but this is by far my favorite. : ) I’ve done minimum touch-up work. If I remember correctly, there’s not even any color correction. That’s what I call a successful photo!

I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

P.S. There’s some fun stuff coming soon! I took some Senior Photos last Sunday & they are lovely. Expect a post before too long… plus there’ll be another “for fun” image up soon!
