This is due to my recently acquiring an awesome job at Cattilac Style as a T-shirt Designer/Graphic Artist.  *Throws confetti in the Air*  I’m very excited about this opportunity!

Of course, I’m still open for business.  Especially senior pictures… Seniors of 2011, you are thinking about your Senior pictures early, right? : ) It’s best to get them done by December or January so you can get all the extras, announcements, etc. you want & not have any concern with getting your stuff on time.

Hope you haven’t missed me too much the last few days (okay, weeks) but things have been hectic.  Hopefully I can get back into the swing of blogging before too long.

Enjoy the last bluebonnet!

Otherwise, we’re still in the bluebonnet theme for Tuesdays. Here’s a more detailed shot than the others I’ve shown here so far. If you look closely, you can even see some of the wildlife (aka bugs) that live around bluebonnets.

I love bluebonnets. : ) I don’t think I could have a prettier state flower (well, unless I could have a daisy or sunflower… but I shouldn’t admit it, being a born and bred Texan).

There’s a lovely field of flowers in Hatchel Cemetery.  The juxtaposition of tombstones & the lovely flowers (including blue bonnets, those pink flowers you can see in the image, sunflowers, irises, and more) is both beautiful and solemn.

I’ll be posting more blue bonnet/flower images that I took in that cemetery over the next few weeks.

With no further babble from me, enjoy the images!  There are a few more than usual because I just couldn’t choose.  Does anyone else think that happens alot?

Our first meeting ended with a nice downpour, so we used the opportunity to shoot with an umbrella then decided when to reschedule for another day.  Sometimes it just happens… but we got some cute pictures! ; )

The sky was gorgeous both times I met with her.  When it actually rains, it’s a problem, but when it’s just thinking about rain, you get the loveliness of these sessions.

We found a tall field of wheat… hay?… either way it was very green & very perfect for Haley’s images. Don’t her blonde hair & blue eyes just jump out of the image?

Haley: The photo shoot(s) were so much fun!  Thanks for being so full of ideas & up for anything!  (And thanks to your mom for driving us around, lol).

These shoes are actually mine & a favorite pair I got recently.  I’ve already worn them often enough for there to be little scuffs on the toes (you can’t see it here). But they’re the most comfortable almost-flats (they have like a 1/2 inch heel) that I’ve ever owned. Anyway, most importantly, they’re cute and I <3 them. lol.

I love it when couples don’t smear the cake all over each other… It may not be as funny for the audience, but it’s so much sweeter & so I enjoy it more.

Rosie’s grandfather delighted them with a wonderful mariachi band at the reception while the guests ate & visited before all the dancing began. ; )

I just love this image. You can see how very happy she is.

Now for a few portraits. : )  Rosie had the prettiest dress.  And Juan, of course, was in his blues for the ceremony & most of the reception.

These are the cute boots that Desiree wore for our session. Aren’t they fabulous?

The image is pretty busy, but I think it’s balanced out by the pop of color of her boots. Plus I undoubtably love the grass & the shadows it made. : D

Texture. So, do you like textures on images or not? Sometimes I think it can be overused, but I liked it on this image. What do y’all think?

I love all of these images. But this is my favorite. When downloading my images, I knew immediately this would be my favorite… then I saw the other one a few down in the tall grass… and it’s my favorite, too. : D

Look at those lovely green eyes… I just love crisp, pretty eyes in photographs.  And hers are so reflective & hazel… wonderful!

The one above. That’s my other favorite favorite.. they’re both so different & yet so beautiful.

As you can see, we had a little more fun at the end… who doesn’t love bubbles? : )
