I haven't Forgotten you!

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

From Blogger:

Oh my little blog & all of my awesome blog readers, I haven’t forgotten you. : )

And I haven’t moved to Wordpress without telling you. That’s still in the works. But I’ve been busy doing other important things. Like sleeping, eating fabulous food & being on the beach…

Not sure what I mean? Here’s a photo hint:

Me & my fabulous Husband! : D

Anyway, if you want to see more, I’ve got some photos up on Facebook & Flickr.

I’ll have more updates soon. (I have a few fabulous sessions from earlier in the year with friends that are the BEST & most patient! Ever! Seriously.) And that move to Wordpress is still pending.. but don’t worry, I’ll keep you posted on that too!

To WordPress!

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

From my blogger :

I’m moving to WordPress soon. My Blog’s website will be the same, but the appearance will be different and more customizable for me (once I get the hang of it!). However, I would appreciate everyone’s help on keeping an eye for an broken links or other weird little catches. : )

I’ll keep you updated as I continue the transition — the WordPress blog isn’t ready, yet, but I’m working on it!

However, I’ve come up against a sad problem – all of your comments won’t move over. Though I’m still working on it, I can’t guarantee anything, yet, so we’ll see!

And, of course, a photo:

I took this a while ago for a class, but I *heart* it & wanted to post it!

Zeke

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

As promised, here are my favorites from Zeke’s session. Doesn’t he look great in Black & White? : )

Hopefully later this week, I’ll have some posts up from my exhibit for those of you that couldn’t make it. ; )

Jean-Sébastien Monzani

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

This artist is awesome! He’s Swiss & French and can speak both French & English. Most stuff on his site is English (or both) but there are a few photo sets that are completely in French (which means I can’t read them, but it’s still pretty neat). He takes photo series & makes stories out of them. Sometimes with text, sometimes without, but they’re beautiful!

I would love to do something like his work! : ) I love the combination of story/poetry & images…

Here, of course, is his website: http://www.simplemoment.com/

And here is a fabulous book of his work for sale: Suspended Time. If you want to know what to get me for graduation, this is definitely a good gift. ; ) (Esp. the hardcover version!!!)

And finally, if you’re a deviantart-y, here’s his account’s link: http://jmonzani.deviantart.com/.

Of course, all the pieces above are copyright Jean-Sébastien Monzani. Copyright has become important to me, so I’m making sure that who deserves what credit is perfectly clear. Rambling: mine, Awesome Images: His. : ) And I post his images here only so you will go look at the awesomeness that is his work.

My images of Zeke will be up soon, don’t worry. I’m just not at my home computer right now, so I can’t post them yet. But soon!

Final note: some of the images are a little revealing for my tastes, so if that bothers you, be forewarned. You can usually tell which to avoid based on the previews.

ENJOY!!!

Rachel Session 2

Friday, May 1st, 2009

Well, I decided that it was time to put up something new even though my exhibit is still up (that’s right, I don’t want anyone to forget).

I actually have two senior sessions that I’ve finished editing within the last week, so you’ll get my favorites from Rachel’s session today and you’ll just have to wait for Zeke’s to go up later. : )

I don’t have very many black & whites to post, but I’ll make up for it with Zeke’s blog. I do love black & white. And I don’t think it’s something that I’ll get over anytime soon (as if it needs to be gotten over! Pfft!)

Okay, now for Rachel’s photos (since they’ve finished uploading!).

Aren’t her cowboy boots the cutest? I love the teal!!! : )

We actually just found “Yay!” & “2009″ written on the wall here.
Talk about convenient!
